Now, how did this rod come about? Well, I wanted something light, strong and not too long for my kids to use on our annual trip to Fraser Island and Stradbroke Island. After a bit of backwards and forwards with the legends at Wilson Fishing we came up with this beast! Not only was it the perfect rod for the kids to use at the beach, but it's proven itself time and time again as a beach and estuary workhorse. It's now my go too light beach dart rod, beahc and boat whiting and bream rod, boat luderick rod and also my "random permit while chasing dart off the beach at Fraser rod". Even my old man The Phantom LOVES his and he's super fussy!!
